Project development for West Coast Uthlande in the framework of "Integrated Territorial Investments"
The Ministry of Economy has offered a competition for sustainable regional development on the West Coast of Schleswig-Holstein. In the first phase of the competition, the regional actors are invited to submit a concept with project proposals. Topics are energy and tourism. The west coast is supposed to be strengthened and supported by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) with 30 mio. EUR. The reason for this is the "Integrated Territorial Investments" (ITI). This tool to implement territorial strategies for the funding period 2014 – 2020 was newly developed by the EU.
DSN supports the association "Insel- und Halligkonferenz" in the development of the project proposal for the competition.
