The city of Kiel wants to develop a strategically oriented location marketing in order to position the state capital in regional, national and international competition. As a basis for this, DSN was commissioned to record all marketing measures of the municipal affiliated companies that contribute to the strengthening of the location. The key activities of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the four Kiel universities were also included in the analysis. Together with those involved, barriers to the integration of the Kiel brand and cooperation opportunities were identified and recommendations for action derived.
