Public relations for FraDiv project

Ash-rich forests are among the most species-rich forest ecosystems in Germany. As if, they provide habitats for a large number of fungal species of national responsibility of Germany and Red List species. Currently, many of these biotic communities are threatened by ash shoot dieback. The aim of the project in the federal programme “Biologische Vielfalt” (engl.: biodiversity) is to develop and implement recommendations and measures for the conservation of this biodiversity in the wake of ash shoot dieback in cooperation between science and practice partners in Schleswig-Holstein.
DSN Connecting Knowledge is developing a website for the project and is organising a conference in 2022.
