Turning separation into connection! Under this motto, the city of Kiel has set out to make the existing ferry service on the Kiel Fjord attractive and to link it intelligently with other modes of transport. It is a particular concern of the climate protection city to significantly reduce CO2 emissions.
In order to receive funding from the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI) for a corresponding model project, the city submitted a competition outline to the funding programme "Model projects to strengthen public transport".
