The project SOOP aims to support the development of new measuring devices, especially modular sensors. These sensors can be used on ships which serve non-scientific purposes, e.g. on private sailing boats. The oceanographic and climate-relevant data collected in this way will then be compiled on a jointly operated digital platform. Based on this data, models of the ocean can be created which simulate temperature, salinity, currents and other parameters. In this way the scientists can provide indications oft the state of the oceans and develop effective early warning systems.

DSN was commissioned to develop the public relations materials: a website, a flyer, a rollup and a presentation - within three weeks.
