Cross-border air rescue between Denmark and Germany: project report

Plakat Cross-Border Air Rescue Deutschland Dänemark

This project was the first cross-border cooperative initiative between Germany and Denmark in the field of airborne rescue. Its aim was to establish an economically workable and long-lasting air rescue service in the German-Danish border region. The German-Danish Cross-Border Air Rescue Service is a reliable and fast emergency resource for citizens on both sides of the border. In Denmark this was the first time that an air rescue service of this kind has become available.

At the end of the three-year project phase the project steering group has summarised their experiences, results and perspectives in a bilingual final report. This project report can be found in other border regions hints and ideas for your own projects. Many pictures, easy to understand language and quotes from the participants make the brochure clearly legible.

DSN has developed the concept for the report, revised the text and have it translated and accompanied the graphical implementation.

DSN was also responsible for the project and financial management as well as for the General project communication.
