Ex-ante Evaluation and Strategy Environmental Assessment of the Transnational Cooperation Programme CENTRAL EUROPE 2014+
DSN carried out in the years 2013-2014, together with "blue! advancing european projects" (Munich), the ex-ante-evaluation and strategic environmental assessment for the EU programme "CENTRAL EUROPE 2014-2020 ". The programme strategy and the implementation structures and processes for the next funding period 2014-2020 were evaluated and recommendations developed.
The ex-ante-evaluation evaluates the effect of the current programmes with different instruments. Are they structured in such a way that the strategic objectives of the European Union can be achieved? Are the specific structural problems affecting the Member States and regions addressed? Is sustainable development ensured? And how does the environmental impact and strategic environmental assessment work?
The overall objective of this evaluation was to improve the quality, effectiveness and consistency of the interventions of the funding programme and to improve the implementation of operational programmes.
