Ralf Duckert is the managing director of DSN. He has over 20 years of experience in regional strategy development, EU project management and regional, national and international cooperation. Ralf Duckert has extensive experience in the moderation of stakeholder, steering and management groups. After studying economics at the Kiel University, he worked in various positions for public clients and management consultancies. Ralf Duckert is, among other things, a member of the Economics Club at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy and a regular guest at the "Kieler Salon".

Klaas Fröhlich works at DSN, particularly in network and cluster development at the interface between business, research and administration, as well as in the acquisition of funding and strategy development within the framework of EU, federal and state programs. That is where the strength of the urban and regional developer lies, who wrote his master's thesis on digital geographies at Kiel University. Before his studies, Klaas Fröhlich trained as a health care worker and nurse and then worked as an intensive care worker at the University Medical Center Schleswig-Holstein in Kiel.

Lisa-Marie Freundel supports DSN in the application process and in project communication. Lisa earned her bachelor's degree at Kiel University and is now studying for her master's degree in urban and regional development. As part of her bachelor's thesis, she worked on regional innovation systems.

Fenja Reinisch-Gengelazky manages international projects at DSN in a wide variety of subject areas. In the course of the project, surprising twists and turns have to be mastered and the partners consistently supported in achieving their goals. Fenja Reinisch-Gengelazky is certified as a PRINCE2-practitioner and is involved in the Kiel regional group and the Young Crew of the German Association for Project Management (GPM). Fenja studied Tourism and Event Management (B.A.) at the EBC University of Applied Sciences Hamburg and the Dublin Business School. Before joining DSN, she gained professional experience in strategic and operational project and cooperation management with various employers.

Stefanie Keßel is our competent contact person when it comes to project finances: from annual reports to budget changes to second level audits. This multitalented employee also organises meetings and maintains the website for international projects. After Stefanie Keßel finished her apprenticeship as an Office Administrator, she lived and worked in England for 2.5 years.

Daniel Klose works at DSN since 2006 and has been the main author of numerous studies since then. His ability to derive qualified statements from large amounts of information and data forms the framework of our analyses, evaluations and strategies. He also stays on top of the things when it comes to project applications for funding programmes. Daniel Klose completed his studies at the Kiel University with the focus on spatial and socioeconomic data analysis.

Britt Lorenzen manages cooperation projects at DSN, especially in the health sector. She is process facilitator for the audit "Zukunftsfähige Unternehmenskultur", Systemic Management Coach (SMC)® and MPA expert. Britt Lorenzen has worked for over 15 years in leading positions in the education and health sectors. She studied language teaching research with a focus on intercultural communication at the University of Hamburg.

Christian Michels works in the financial management of funding and DSN internal financial concerns. There, his reliability and accuracy are in demand. After graduation Christian Michels completed his training as an industrial clerk and then studied political science at the Kiel University.

Simon Reitz is our man for all questions about hardware and software. He develops databases, SharePoints and other online applications.He also maintains our IT-infrastructure. Simon Reitz studies Business Informatics online at the University of Applied Science Kiel. From 2012 to 2015 Simon Reitz completed his training as an IT Administrator at DSN.

Lorenz Reimer develops complete funding applications from vague ideas and then manages the approved projects - preferably when he can contribute his scientific expertise. Lorenz finished his masters in biology at Kiel University, specializing in micro- and molecular biology.

Gesine Stück is responsible for strategy and planning of communication processes. Especially in international projects, she aligns communication with the needs of stakeholders and funders, media and partners. Her areas of experience are accordingly diverse: print and online publications, workshops and congresses. Since 2018, she has been a Systemic Management Coach (SMC)®. Born in Berlin, Gesine Stück completed her journalism studies at the Free University in Berlin. Gesine Stück has gained professional experience as an editor and speechwriter as well as in public relations and workshop moderation.

Kristina Teichmann is responsible, among other things, for communicating project results and conveying subject-specific content in a way that is appropriate for the target group. Kristina Teichmann studied Russian and Polish Linguistics at University of Hamburg and graduated with a Magistra Artium degree. Before her employment at DSN she worked as a translator for Russian and English and as a community manager for a Latvian game company.
